J Hotel Shanghai Tower is located atop the 632 metre Shanghai Tower. It opens on June 19, and it is not just another high-end property.
The hotel boasts 165 rooms, including 34 suites. The staterooms and suites are located from Floors 86 to 98.
There’s 24 hours personal butler service, an indoor swimming pool, toiletries by Hermes and Diptyque, magnolia petal-shaped bathtubs, a luxe spa with a focus on Reiki treatments and full Chinese tea sets in every room.
The most expensive suite available is the Shanghai Suite. It provides 380 square metre of space and offers a separate parlour, bedroom, dressing room, study, kitchen and physiotherapy area.
The stateroom is the cheapest room available in the hotel. It offers more than 60 square metre of living space, which includes bedroom, living room, bathroom and walk-in closet areas.
According to CNN, the least expensive room is priced at 3,601 RMB (about RM 2,316) per night while the J Suite, a suite less posh than the Shanghai Suite, costs about 67,628 RMB per night (about RM 43,507).
