The Sultan of Johor, His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, has a massive assortment of cars in his collection, but we definitely did not expect to see a Genesis G90 Limousine as part of it. For those who don’t know, Genesis is Hyundai’s luxury arm, and it been said to produce cars as luxurious as a Maybach, but it has also stolen the crown as the among the safest cars ever produced.
His majesty was spotted in the car to the Dewan Persidangan Dewan Negeri Johor with his son His Royal Highness Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, the Crown Prince of Johor. The Royals was there to officiate the opening of the fourth sitting of the 14th Johor State Legislative Assembly.
The Sultan’s Genesis is a G90 Limousine that was launched in 2019. It has a length of 5,945 mm with a wheelbase of 3,450 mm. The G90 is powered by a 5.0-litre V8 engine paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The car produces 425 PS and at least 504 Nm.
Prices for the limo start at USD 138,000 (around RM584,499), but prices may vary depending on the options the owner picks.
