Wan Zaini Wan Hassan came from a humble background, his father was in the military and his mother was a fulltime housewife. As the eldest child of six siblings living in Kuala Selangor in the 1970s, the responsibility towards his family was the drive for him to succeed in whatever he did.
In 1995, there were not a lot of Bumiputeras involved in the insurance business. Many were employees, but not as agents. At the time when he sat for his agent examination, there were only 5 Bumiputeras out of the 40 candidates. After passing his exam, there was no turning back. He began to pave his future, and in 2010, led his own company Imtiyaz Consultancy Sdn. Bhd.

India has recently announced their decision to ban Mastercard from issuing new debit and credit cards in the country, although this ban will not affect existing customers of Mastercard.
