FM Media Communications holds its inaugural event, Women of Excellence Awards 2022 to recognize more than 70 female entrepreneurs and personalities from across the country. The event took place in Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
The event, in collaboration with The CEO Malaysia magazine managed to gather companies worth more than RM500,000,000 in total. More than 350 guests attended the prestigious awards ceremony, which was officiated by YB Datuk Mastura Mohd Yazid, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Special Functions).
“I hope this award ceremony will be an example and a benchmark to other female entrepreneurs, to achieve greater heights for the prosperity of the country. Let’s work together to contribute to the recovery as well as the renewal of the country’s economy,” Datuk Mastura Yazid said.
Among the distinguished guests present were Executive Director of FM Media Communications; Muhammad Fairos Ayob, Managing Director of FM Media Communication; Ema Malina Abu Bakar Tajudin, Chairman of BERNAMA TV; YB Senator Datuk Ras Adiba Mohd Radzi, Chairman of Koperasi Usahawan Maju Bhd; Datin Zalani Haji Hassan, Managing Director of Yayasan Hasanah; Dato’ Shahira Ahmed Bazari, as well as President and Founder of Melium Group; Dato’ Sri Dr Farah Khan.
Ema Malina said that in conjunction with Women’s Day which is celebrated in March each year, The CEO Malaysia Magazine decided to organize the “Women Of Excellence Awards 2022”.
“Through this prestigious program, we can leverage our expertise to generate and enhance their branding and business potential. In addition, we also want to provide a platform to bring all successful female entrepreneurs together.
“We believe that the participation of female entrepreneurs from various industries will foster tremendous potentials, forging new and prosperous business relationships among the entrepreneurs,” she said.
The awards comprises companies and individuals from various industries, including Women in Business, Best Emerging Female Entrepreneur, Special Leadership Award, Small and Medium Enterprises, Retail Industry, Technology Industry, Bumiputera Industry, Food and Beverage Industry, Education Industry, Finance and Real Estate Industry, Media Industry and celebrities. Each business that receives the award is evaluated through three main criteria, namely the company’s annual performance, leadership and outstanding achievements in their respective fields.
The ceremony kick start with a prayer recitation by PU Riz. Guests were then entertained with performances by local artists, namely Dolla and Noraniza Idris.Meanwhile, other prominent celebrities such as Datin Rita Sosilawati, Datin Elaine Daly, Datuk Syafinaz Selamat, Farhatul Fairuzah, Mira Filzah, Jihan Muse, Syafinaz Yunos, DJ Lin, Fara Fauzana, Sherry Al-Hadad, Rozita Che Wan, MUA Bellaz, Maya Karin and Jaclyn Victor were also present.
Coming straight from Jakarta, the event was made livelier with a special appearance by Indonesian legendary singer, Hettty Koes Endang.
