This version of Cinderella chose to pursue her ambitions instead of running off with the prince. Compared to most of her predecessors, this Cinderella is a distinctively fresh role model for young kids. However, critics were quick to review the movie when it previewed on Amazon, and boy they did not hold back.

South Korea’s Bangtan Sonyeondan, or as it is widely known to the rest of the world by the acronym BTS need no introduction. Their single “Butter” started trending all over TikTok, while hits like “Dynamite”, “Boy With Luv” (feat Hasley) and “Mic Drop” (feat Steve Aoki) shattered the charts and are immediately recognized by the crowds all over the world.

According to ABC News, Rakuten Viki, a streaming platform with both original and licensed content from Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan and subscribers around the globe has the largest audience from the U.S. The U.S made up of 75 percent of the viewer.  It goes to show that the Hallyu phenomenon, or the Korean wave has certainly hit viewers across the globe.
