McDonald Australia designed a custom PlayStation 5 DualSense controller internally as part of its 50th birthday celebration. However, the plan was scrapped during the planning phase. In a statement to IGN, McDonald’s Australia stated that “the image was provided to media in error and there is no commercial relationship between McDonald’s Australia and Sony PlayStation.”

We are already in August, and there is just four more months before the year 2021 ends. That said, for the pandemic there seems to be no end in sight. Many countries are still under lockdowns as a preventive measure against the Delta variant. The economy is still not back to normal. And the fear is that this would very well continue to the end of the year. All around the world, countries are struggling to manage the Covid while also managing economic recovery.

Malaysian diver Nur Dhabitah Sabri has been trending all over social media after coming in fourth at the women’s 3m springboard finals at the Tokyo Olympics. The 22-year-old scored 326.15 points in the event, just missing out on a bronze medal, behind the USA’s Krysta Palmer. The top two spots went to Chinese divers Shi Tingmao (gold) and Wang Han (silver).

But one thing for sure, whenever a fellow Malaysian made name in an international competition, we are proud of them for their bravery ad success. Such person is Diana Chan. Diana Chan is a Malaysian-born Australian cook. She is the winner of MasterChef Australia for 2017, having defeated Ben Ungermann by one point in the grand finale.

Madrid’s Paseo del Prado and Retiro Park was recently added as a new Unesco, but besides Madrid, Unesco has announced some of the new additions to its list of World Heritage Sites. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization has voted to add 33 new spots to its list, with more discussions to come after several days of online deliberations.
